Aaron Donald’s likely NFL retirement is the main topic of conversation, despite the fact that he is fully focused on celebrating a career high point.

He still has several extremely productive seasons ahead of him when he can be a huge defensive impact if he so desires. Football is a team sport, but he can make a big difference, as he did in Super Bowl 56 when he helped the Rams win.
Los Angeles clearly wants him back, particularly because he is perhaps the finest defensive player in the league. His departure would create a massive hole in his team’s performance that would be difficult to cover. The Rams will do everything possible to keep his spark alive and help him prolong his NFL career.

At this point in his brilliant career, Aaron Donald has every cause to feel completely fulfilled.
Despite the fact that he’s just in his ninth NFL season, he’s already set himself up for a Hall of Fame career. However, it’s difficult not to consider his remaining deal, which includes three more years at a salary of $22 million each season.

Aside from persuading Donald not to retire, the Rams have a number of personnel adjustments to make in order to give themselves the greatest opportunity of winning another Super Bowl.
The first step in GM Les Snead’s offseason game plan is to figure out how to free up more salary cap room in order to retain Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller. Through critical performances, each contributed significantly to the Rams’ championship victory.
