Jay-Z–one of the most influential rappers alive today, recently released his 13th studio album titled 4:44. This is a reference to Jay’s mother telling him that everything happens for a reason.

“Everything Happens for a Reason” is a phrase that can be found in many different places. It’s often used to describe the idea that everything happens for a reason and there is always a lesson to be learned from it.

Despite the fact that the Boston Celtics lost for the first game in two weeks, there were several positives. The Celtics were missing four starters for Monday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, including Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. They were also without Al Horford and Robert Williams, their two starting big men. The Celtics, who were shorthanded, traveled on the road and forced overtime against the Raptors before losing 115-112.

The absence of Williams is the most worrying. With a knee injury, he missed Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. An MRI on Monday revealed a meniscus injury, putting his season in jeopardy. Marcus Smart, a veteran point guard, has seen the Celtics suffer blows in the weeks leading up to the playoffs in the past. He’s also had a front-row seat to most of the team’s turmoil this season.

Smart feels that in the long term, all of these challenges will help them. “Everything occurs for a reason,” he continues to believe.

The game should not have been as close as it was. For the second part of a back-to-back, the Celtics didn’t bother bringing everyone to Toronto. Smart was the Raptors’ lone starter in a game against a playoff-bound club.

As the Celtics gave all they had in the overtime defeat, he ended with team-highs in points (28) and rebounds (10) as he led the club in both categories. Boston has only lost five of their previous 29 games.

According to ESPN, Celtics first-year coach Ime Udoka stated, “Great night by a lot of players.” “There were a number of men that stood up. We had our opportunities and believed we deserved to win.”

The Celtics played eight players, and seven of them scored ten points or more, including Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser, who came off the bench to score ten points apiece. Smart, on the other hand, was the court’s leader, as he typically is. He was, nevertheless, the statistical leader this time.

Smart stated, “It was a difficult game.” “I’m proud of us for doing what we did and taking risks.”

Marcus Smart spoke about the Celtics’ early-season struggles and Robert Williams’ injury.

In the previous three months, not much has gone against the Celtics. Boston’s setback on Monday was just their second in March, and it was a respectable one given the circumstances.

As the Celtics prepare for a postseason run, one can’t help but reflect on the team’s previous series of bad luck in the playoffs. Brown suffered season-ending wrist surgery last year, so they were without him this year. In 2018, they also had to cope with Kyrie Irving’s season-ending injury. It’s now Williams’ turn.

Smart focused on the good aspects of the situation.

After Monday’s defeat, Smart said, “The benefit that we have with that is, you know, we went through 30-something games without our entire roster.” “To play like way, we had to adapt and modify.” It’s a hit for us, but we know Rob wouldn’t want us to hang our heads in shame, so we’re not going to.”

Smart took a holistic approach to the season, understanding that the club had battled early on. The Celtics will have to cope with another sort of hardship in the shape of Williams’ injury.

He said, “Everything occurs for a reason.” “I live by that motto.” That’s how I was raised and how I grew up. I’ve always believed that you had to go through the storm to reach the other side of the rainbow when it’s all said and done. In a hurricane, the safest location is smack in the middle. You can’t go away from it or hide from it. You have to go straight to the point.

“Everything occurs for a reason,” says the narrator. We don’t know what that cause is, but we shouldn’t be concerned. We need to go back to work and concentrate on what’s in front of us.”

Williams will be out for an unknown amount of time, according to Ime Udoka.

According to Udoka, Williams need surgery to repair a damaged meniscus in his left knee, but his comeback date is undetermined. It depends on the sort of operation they choose, according to the coach.

According to Boston.com, Udoka added, “We’ll know in the next few days, simply assess some surgical possibilities, look at them over the next few days, and we’ll know more then.”

There are just six regular-season games left for the Celtics. Williams might return for the playoffs, according to Udoka.

“Some [surgical treatments] keep you out longer than others, and we’re hoping for the best in that regard,” Udoka said.

“He’s hopeful that he’ll be able to return, but in the meanwhile, the others must stand up.” We’ve been doing it for a year, and perhaps he’ll return sooner rather than later. We’ll see in the coming days, but it should offer him some hope and optimism while he recovers and relies on everyone else to fill in for him for the time being.”
