Kostas Antetokounmpo is a 22-year-old basketball player who last played for the Italian league’s Udine Basket in 2014. He was drafted by the Lakers in 2016, but was cut from the team in December. Since then, he has played for the Greek League’s Aris and the Atlanta Hawks’ G-League affiliate.

The Milwaukee Bucks have received a lot of criticism for their recent lack of activity to move Giannis Antetokounmpo to a new team, especially at the cost of a valuable future draft pick. The Bucks have asked for a crazy amount of money ($100 million) for the Greek Freak to leave the organization for a franchise that won’t be able to compete with the Lakers. This is a risky move because the Greek Freak is entering a contract year and is eligible to be a free agent in 2019.

It seems like Giannis Antetokounmpo has received a lot of attention this year for his recent success, but his brother, Kostas, has only just made his NBA debut. The 24-year-old has played the last three seasons in the Greek Basket League, where he has averaged 13.8 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. Last season, Kostas even made it to the playoffs, but his team lost.. Read more about giannis antetokounmpo college and let us know what you think.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has created NBA Finals history by scoring 50 points in the deciding game to lift the Milwaukee Bucks to their first title since 1971. However, things aren’t going as well for his younger brother, Kostas, who is still in the early stages of his professional basketball career.

Kostas will not return to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021-22 after spending the previous two seasons on a two-way contract. However, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, a French basketball team, has given the 23-year-old a second opportunity.

Giannis is on his way to becoming an NBA Hall of Famer and one of the best players of all time, but his younger brother, Kostas, has struggled since becoming pro.

The Dallas Mavericks selected Kostas 60th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft. He’s had a difficult time remaining in the NBA, having spent the most of the past three seasons in the G League. Following a year with the Mavericks, Kostas played the past two seasons with the Lakers on two-way contracts. Over the past two years, he’s alternated between the NBA club and its G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

During the 2019-20 season, Antetokounmpo averaged 14.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game for South Bay in 38 games. In the same year, he only played in five NBA games with the Lakers. Kostas has only appeared in 22 games and scored 21 points in his first three years in the NBA.

Last season, Kostas earned a championship ring with the Lakers, but he won’t be back the following season.

In France, Kostas Antetokounmpo gets a second opportunity.

After only playing in 15 games with the Lakers this season, it seemed obvious that Antetokounmpo would not be re-signed for the 2021-22 season. He didn’t appear to be attracting much attention from other NBA clubs, however, suggesting that his brief NBA career may be gone before it really began.

But, just days before his elder brothers, Thanasis and Giannis, became NBA champions, Kostas was given a second shot in Europe. The former Laker just signed a two-year contract with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, according to the team’s announcement last week.

Over the next two seasons in France, Kostas will get a lot of playing time, which should help him develop his game and offer him a chance to return to the NBA in the near future.

Kostas will be remembered for the rest of his life in the NBA.

Whether or whether Kostas is granted another opportunity to play with his brothers in the NBA, he will go down in history. The three Antetokounmpos became the first trio of brothers to win the NBA championship when the Bucks won the Finals and Giannis and Thanasis became winners for the first time.

And who knows, maybe one day the three may rejoin on the Bucks to play on the same NBA team. What a fascinating tale it would be.

Magic Johnson cost the Lakers $50,000, according to a report. Simply by stating that Giannis Antetokounmpo would lead the Bucks to an NBA championship,
