The Los Angeles Rams are riding high after defeating Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals. Sean McVay’s team now travels to SoFi Stadium to face the Seattle Seahawks in another divisional showdown.
Los Angeles was on a three-game losing run until beating the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13. There were doubts about whether their all-in efforts would pay off.
However, a win against Arizona may tip the scales in the Rams’ favor. However, with NFL parity at an all-time high in 2021, they must continue to win.
With a victory against the Seahawks and some additional assistance, the Rams can secure a postseason spot in Week 15. The Rams also need the Saints of New Orleans and the Vikings of Minnesota to lose.
The Saints will face the Buccaneers at Tampa Bay. The Vikings will face the Chicago Bears on the road.
The Rams need assistance, but they must first take care of business against the Seahawks.
The NFC West championship is still up for grabs in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Rams would be the NFC’s 5-seed if the season ended today. However, there is still a chance they can win the NFC West.
The Arizona Cardinals fell to 10-3 after their defeat on Monday Night Football. Kliff Kingsbury’s team is still in first position in the division, but the Rams are closing close on them.
With the win in Week 14, LA drew even in the season series. The Cardinals dominated the first encounter, winning by a score of 37-20. The NFC West title is still up for grabs with four games remaining in the regular season.
The Rams will play the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, and San Francisco 49ers to finish the 2021 season.
The Cardinals still have to play the Lions, the Colts, the Cowboys, and the Seahawks.
If the Cardinals keep playing like they did in Week 14, and the Rams win out, they may be able to seize the division lead from their rivals before the NFL playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers are the No. 1 seed in the NFC right now. They don’t have to win this week to secure a postseason spot. Instead, defeats by the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers seal the deal. With a victory and a Minnesota Vikings defeat, Green Bay can clinch the NFC North.
With a victory and a defeat by either the Saints or the 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys clinch a postseason spot.
With a win and defeats by the Vikings, Saints, and 49ers, the Arizona Cardinals would secure a position in the NFL playoffs.
Arizona can’t yet clinch the NFC West, which is fortunate for the Rams. Sean McVay’s team still has a long way to go before they can achieve their ultimate aim of winning a Super Bowl.
