The Green Bay Packers’ 2021 season is officially ended, which means speculation over where Aaron Rodgers will play in 2022 has reached a fever pitch. The Packers, the top-seeded team in the NFL, were eliminated early from the playoffs, which was a horrible look for the probable MVP. Is it possible that he took his last snap in Green Bay? Although some believe so, Eli Manning has a firm opinion on what Rodgers should do this summer.
Aaron Rodgers, according to Eli Manning, should remain in Green Bay.

For a variety of reasons, Aaron Rodgers is one of the most divisive people in sports. The question of whether the 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback will return to Green Bay in 2022 is still up in the air.
Rodgers’ future with the Packers is being debated by many in the NFL. Eli Manning, the great quarterback for the New York Giants, recently explored the prospect of No. 12 playing elsewhere and why it may not be the greatest choice.
Manning told ESPN, “It was vital for me to complete my career with the Giants.” “I believe it would be significant for him as well.” Simply because of his reputation, the history of Green Bay, his tenure there, winning a championship, and receiving MVP awards. On the other hand, the grass isn’t always greener on the opposite side.”
Manning says that leaving Green Bay isn’t a panacea and that success isn’t guaranteed.
He went on to say, “That’s what I discovered by talking to other individuals.” “You can travel anywhere, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be better. It’ll very certainly become worse.”
Rodgers’ ego, according to the former quarterback, may be getting in the way.
“What usually occurs is that the egos get involved,” Manning said. “Either his ego or the GM’s, and for some reason, that’s when there’s typically a split.” It’s because the egos can’t get along with everyone when a quarterback departs after a lengthy tenure.”
According to the Giants mythology, this is not the same circumstance as Peyton Manning’s time in Indianapolis.

The New York Giants were Eli Manning’s team throughout his entire 16-year NFL career. He appreciated being able to ride shotgun with the same team that had picked him. Peyton Manning, his brother, played 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts until being released in 2012.
Manning Jr. pointed out that his brother did not depart on his own.
Manning said, “Peyton never wanted to leave [the Colts].” “It was almost as though he was pushed out.” He was suffering from a neck ailment. Andrew Luck was going to be drafted, therefore he had to relocate. He wanted to keep playing, and this was a unique situation.”
Aaron Rodgers, a three-time NFL MVP, will have a lot of say in his future. Whatever happens, Manning feels, will be because that is what the Packers quarterback wants.
“If Aaron quits, it’ll probably be his decision,” Manning continued. “Last year, he practically said that he wanted to get out.” I think it’s odd to want to leave somewhere you’ve lived your entire life for the past two years or whatever period of your playing career you’re in. Tom [Brady] obviously did that and was successful, but you want to make sure it’s the correct position.”
Rodgers, according to the former Giants great, wants to be certain before moving and starting over someplace else.
“It’s a little different if it’s a transaction,” he said. “You wouldn’t imagine a deal would go well for him.” They’re not going to send him to an NFC club, so that rules out half of the league.”
Rodgers’ argument for leaving the Packers in 2022
Aaron Rodgers’ plans for 2022 and beyond remain a mystery. It’s possible he’ll retire, but it doesn’t seem probable. Regardless matter which path he pursues, he must make a life-changing choice.
It makes perfect sense for Rodgers to return to Green Bay, as Eli Manning indicated. On both sides of the ball, the Packers have the components in place to compete in 2022. They were the NFC’s top seed for a reason. Still, he may not want to complete his career in Green Bay.
If the Packers do deal Rodgers, he’ll almost certainly go to an AFC club. The Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders, both from the AFC West, might be involved. The hiring of Nathaniel Hackett has sparked a flurry of conjecture in Denver.
A change of location might really be beneficial to Rodgers. He’s been dissatisfied with the front desk for many years. Despite the fact that the relationship seems to be improving on the surface, it’s impossible to picture the four-time All-Pro selection being satisfied. Winning tends to heal wounds, but the Packers’ season came to a close with a loss.
The Broncos would be an interesting destination for the No. 12 pick. Javonte Williams, Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and Noah Fant are among the offense’s youthful weapons. It’s unclear if Denver will be able to afford Davante Adams, but that may be a condition of the deal.
If you want to win right immediately, there’s no better place to go than Green Bay. The league’s most contentious superstar, on the other hand, may be playing somewhere next season if he wants to make it on his own.
