In the NFC North, there are two teams who have been dominating the NFC North for years. The Green Bay Packers have been the cream of the crop for a long time, but it seems like the Minnesota Vikings have a shot at dethroning them. So far this season, the Vikings have been unstoppable. How many quarterbacks are there in the NFC North who have a winning record against Aaron Rodgers?
Last night, the world got a peek into the mind of one of the best players in the NFL. It was an interview with ESPN’s First Take, on which Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch went off on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The interview was taped earlier in the day, and prior to the show airing, Marshawn had been warned by the show’s host Damien Woody that he’d be asked about the feud, but that he wouldn’t be asked to say whether Aaron Rodgers or the Packers was winning. “If you want to talk about it, alright,” Woody said. “I’m not gonna ask you to say which team’s winning. That’s not gonna happen. We’ll talk about the situation, we’ll
When all is said and done, the reason the Seattle Seahawks beat the Green Bay Packers in Week 14 on Sunday Night Football, and the reason Aaron Rodgers did not come out with the win, was that he did not want to lose to his bitter rival, and did not have the wherewithal to do anything about it.
Rodgers is in training camp after an offseason dispute with the Green Bay Packers, and he has finally addressed all of the problems he has had with his club this summer. Rodgers’ and the Packers’ futures are still unknown beyond this season, but for the time being, their rivalry seems to be on hold, as it appears like Rodgers will return to Green Bay in 2021.
What does Marshawn Lynch, Rodgers’ old college teammate, think about all of this? He recently said that there is only one way for Rodgers to win, and the same can be said for the Packers.
Aaron Rodgers has called a halt to his feud with the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers reported to training camp this week after a flurry of stories about his issues with the Packers emerged over the summer. The three-time MVP has already addressed the rivalry that has dominated the headlines in recent months.
Rodgers had a 30-minute news conference with the media on the first day of camp on July 29, detailing where things went wrong between him and Green Bay.
What is his main concern? He wants greater say in personnel choices, citing a number of players he believes the team should have tried to retain during his tenure.
According to ESPN, Rodgers said, “I wanted to assist the organization, maybe learn from some of the previous errors… and from the way that some of the departing veterans were handled.” “And the fact that we didn’t keep a lot of guys who I thought were important to our foundation and locker room. Guys have a lot of personality.”
Rodgers said he isn’t sure if there have been any promises that things would improve as a result of his participation in those discussions, but on July 28, the Packers re-acquired Randall Cobb, a player he believes they treated unjustly. Cobb was traded to the Packers by the Houston Texans after catching 38 receptions for 441 yards in 10 games for Houston in 2020.

Rodgers’ relationship with the Packers isn’t ideal, but he’s training with them, thus, as previously said, it seems their rivalry is at least on hold while they attempt to win a title.
According to Marshawn Lynch, who played with Rodgers in college at California in 2004, winning a championship is the only way Rodgers or the Packers can win in this scenario.
On the July 28 edition of First Take, Lynch stated through the show’s Twitter account, “If they don’t win a Super Bowl, then they both lost.” “… I said they both lost if they don’t win a Super Bowl; that’s what it’s about.”
When host Molly Qerim Rose pressed Lynch to explain why the Packers would be losers, he said that winning the Super Bowl is the only objective that matters.
“The entire purpose of playing the game is to win a Super Bowl, so if you don’t win a Super Bowl, you’re a bulls—in,” he added.
Lynch makes a valid argument. The ultimate objective should be to win a Super Bowl, so if Rodgers and Green Bay can’t accomplish it together, the whole thing will be for nothing.
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have a chance to win the Super Bowl.
Despite the drama, Rodgers and the Packers have a fantastic opportunity to win a Super Bowl together. They were 13-3 in each of the previous two seasons and advanced to two NFC Championship Games in a row.
Green Bay boasts one of the greatest wide receivers in the league in Davante Adams, a quality running back in Aaron Jones, and many additional weapons in Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Robert Tonyan, Allen Lazard, and 2021 third-round selection Amari Rodgers, in addition to their potential Hall of Fame quarterback.
Winning a Super Bowl is tough, particularly when there is team turmoil, but Rodgers and the Packers have established themselves as one of the NFC’s best teams in recent years. This season, they have as strong a shot as anybody to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
