Bradley’s playing career ended in 2005, but he didn’t immediately give up his athletic activities. The large guy started riding and had a bespoke bike made to fit his gigantic frame. Regrettably, that pastime was eventually responsible for his altering his life.
Bradley was “hit from behind by a car while riding his bicycle a mere block from his house in St. George, Utah,” according to a statement released by the Mavericks organization. He was paralyzed as a result of the event, which resulted in a catastrophic spinal cord damage.”
