On Dec. 29, Irving, Kyrie was cleared to return to practice with the Brooklyn Nets. The club was on a high after sweeping the Lakers and Clippers in Los Angeles to climb to 23–9. The Nets went to bed that night with a one-game Eastern Conference lead.
