I don’t know much about sports, but I do know a lot about geeky stuff and video games. I’ve been a gamer since the days of Pong and I’ve got a pretty good sense for some of the video game developer’s favorite “little known facts” when it comes to their games. Today, I’m going to talk about the Windmill in the Skyward Sword game, and explain how you can test if you have found the right spot.

Hello everyone, this is my first blog post here, I just wanted to share with you the location of the Windmill propeller in Skyward Sword.

There’s a lot of awesome stuff in the game Skyward Sword. There’s the boss, the dungeons, the items, the animals, the characters, the music, and the locations, but we’re going to focus on one small and seemingly insignificant piece of Skyward Sword, the Windmill Propeller Location.

Prepare to take a few detours if you’re attempting to locate and repair the Skyward Sword windmill propeller. The mission is divided into two parts, the first of which needs you to mend Gondo’s tiny buddy before you can acquire what you’re searching for.

Then you must use dowsing to locate it. But, thankfully, you’ve previously been to the Windmill Propeller location; all you have to do now is dig it up. Here’s all you need to know about the propeller in Skyward Sword.

Scrapper the Robot must be repaired.

Gondo’s scrap-collecting robot must first be repaired. Speak with him at the workshop in the Bazaar, and he’ll instruct you to gather Ancient Flowers. These can only be found in a few specific areas of the Lanayru Desert.

Locations of Ancient Flowers

The Ancient Flower may be found in three locations, though these two are the easiest. The first is at the desert’s entrance, near the southern-most bird statue. Climb up the vines that emerge after activating the Time Shift stone.

Exit the Temple of Time and go to the gorge’s eastern side. Activate the Time Shift stone, then use your helpful beetle to collect the two flowers.

When you return to Gondo with the flowers, you’ll witness a hilarious sequence between Scrapper and Fi. When you’re dowsing, you may now summon Scapper to help you bring items back to the surface.

Go to the Earth Temple in the Eldin Region. The first Eldin Key piece is concealed in the location you’re searching for. Go there, use your dowsing, and inform Fi that you want Scrapper to come get the windmill propeller from you.

Now comes the fun part. Watch the cutscene play out before activating the windmill with the Bellows.

That’s all there is to know about the Skyward Sword windmill propeller; for more information, see our other Skyward Sword tutorials.
